Trade Journal Falcon
Privacy policy
Trade Journal Falcon is designed to keep your trading journal close: on your device, under your control, with optional private iCloud backup.
Last updated: August 20, 2026
The short version
The current iOS app works in local-first mode. Your trades, journal entries, watchlist, strategies, account labels, settings, and screenshots stay on your device unless you choose to back them up to iCloud. Trade Journal Falcon does not use your journal content for advertising or sell it to anyone.
Information the app handles
- Journal content. The app stores trade details, notes, tags, plans, recaps, watchlist items, strategies, account labels, and screenshots that you create.
- App settings. The app stores preferences such as appearance, timezone, reminders, and backup settings so the app can work as you configure it.
- Purchase status. If you use a paid feature, Apple and RevenueCat process the purchase and entitlement information needed to provide access. Trade Journal Falcon does not receive your payment card number.
Where your data goes
In the current app configuration, Trade Journal Falcon does not send your journal content to a Trade Journal Falcon server. Analytics are calculated from the local journal on your device.
If you enable iCloud backup, the app writes a backup of your journal and attachments to its private iCloud container. Apple handles that storage under your Apple account and Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.
Trade Journal Falcon also has an administrator-only web dashboard. That dashboard processes administrator credentials and account information for access control. It is not a web companion for app users.
Sharing
Trade Journal Falcon does not sell your personal information or journal content. The current app does not include advertising or third-party analytics tools. Purchase and entitlement information is shared with Apple and RevenueCat only as needed to process purchases, restore them, and manage access to paid features.
Permissions
The app asks for permissions only when you use a feature that needs them, such as notifications for reminders or photo access for trade screenshots. You can change these permissions in iOS Settings.
Retention and deletion
Local journal data remains on your device until you delete it, erase the app’s data from Settings, or remove the app. In Trade Journal Falcon, open Settings, choose the data or account controls, and confirm the erase action. This removes local trades, journal entries, screenshots, watchlist items, and settings.
Erasing local data does not automatically remove a copy already stored in iCloud. Remove the Trade Journal Falcon backup from iCloud if you want that copy deleted too. Apple and RevenueCat manage purchase records under their own policies.
If you need help with a deletion request that the in-app controls do not cover, use the support contact listed for Trade Journal Falcon in the App Store listing.
Security
Trade Journal Falcon uses Apple platform storage protections for local files and does not promise that any storage system is completely risk-free. Keep your device, Apple account, and passcode secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app’s data practices change. We will update the date at the top of this page and provide any notices required by law.
